🧚‍♂️I waited & bought this on BOGO offer on Purplle. Totally worth the money & so comfortable on the lips.

🧚‍♂️ Comes with a regular doe foot applicator which distributes product evenly and smoothly. 

🧚‍♂️Sugar Plum is a deep berry shade & apt for winters. Definitely my favourite shade.

🧚‍♂️Jujube Berry is a medium brown & works well as a nude shade.

🧚‍♂️These don't make it through a meal and transfer quite a bit. However they do leave a stain, so your lips are not entirely bare.

The cheapest & most pigmented of them all. ADS is hell bent on copying ALL of The Balm products.

No pigmentation at all. I like to layer it on top of black kajal 

Maliao Intense Gel Kajal

Insane pigmentation on this one. Love! 

Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil

Pretty ancient & turns out has completely dried out. Into the bin

Streetwear Kajal

Poor pigmentation & feels harsh. Binning this one. 

Vlcc Kajal

Got it as a free gift with something I bought. Regular pigmentation but smudges like crazy. I only use it as a base for doing smokey eyes.

Mars Soft Eyeliner Pencil in White

Super soft & extremely pigmented. I don't use this often enough. Am I the only one who thinks white in your lower water line looks super scary?

Positive Root Therapy Kalonji Oil

I first started using Kalonji oil to treat a couple of bald patches I developed post pregnancy. It worked great but most people were onto it which hiked up prices like crazy. This one's pretty much useless. Did nothing + it didn't even have the smell of Kalonji. This time around I'm being all atmanirbhar and DIYing my own. Will let you know how it goes.

Oriflame Roya Velvet Firming Eye Contour Cream

I rarely use eye cream, just don't think they work like they should. This was part of a set I got a while back. Glad to see it gone. The gorgeous smell is the only good thing about this entire range. Honestly, not one good product. Bah! 

The Face Shop Jeju Aloe Ice Gel

INR 500 for 300 ml

This has got to be my favourite aloe vera gel of all time. Don't be fooled by the "ice" in the name (it's not cooling/cold or whatever they were going for). I recently started reading labels on products & this one mentions silicone as an ingredient. In two minds since then. Let's just finish my stash & then decide on repurchase. 

Patanjali Saundarya Multani Mitti Face Scrub

INR 75 for 60 gm

This is actually a foaming face wash with gritty particles. I love using this as my second cleanse especially when wearing a full face of makeup. I already have a backup. 

Khadi Organique Pure Rose Water

INR 125 for 210 ml

Cost effective toner. Again I have a backup. 

Nivea Pearl & Beauty Roll-on Deodorant

INR 185 for 50 ml

Good for autumns and winters. This simply does not work for the Indian summer. Have a backup of this as well (I truly dislike running out of things) 

O'range Mild & Clear Shower Gel

Like these shower gels from Grof6ers. Just didn't like the smell of this variant.

Bought this because I couldn't find my beloved blue heaven one anywhere. Works okay. Will probably not be buying again.

Biocare Foot Spa Cream

INR 150-200 (depending on where you buy it from) for 500 gm

I love buying regularly used products in bigger sizes. It cuts down on the plastic pollution and is easy on the pocket as well. This is a nice heavy moisturizer that gets absorbed quickly. I also love the scent. I have used quite a few of these Biocare creams & will be repurchasing soon.

Vaadi Herbals Enchanting Rose Soap

INR 46 for 100 gm

I have tried pretty much every variant of soap from this brand. I love them to bits & got this without a second thought. Though the soap is good I absolutely dislike the heavy incense kinda smell. Still have 2 more of these to go through.

Dexe lip balm X 2

INR 350 for 12

I love these. Hard to find petrolatum - free lip balms at this price. Still have 5 more. Will be repurchasing if I ever manage to finish my stash.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea EDT

INR 2000 for 100 ml

I love how refreshing this smells. It has a very low sillage & I will not be repurchasing again.

Blue Heaven Signature Mascara

God! This is the worst mascara ever. I bought it because I loved the packaging but it doesn't do anything. I will be repurposing the wand to apply my DIY eye serum to my lashes and brows.

Project Pan Update

I had originally planned this post about 2 months back so I could update after 3 months. Anyhow, posting now. It's been 5 months since I started my Project Pan in January this year. And in all this time I've actually managed to finish quite a bit. Let's start with the wins

Ponds BB Cream- An old favorite. I've been using it for nearly a decade & it's still the best BB Cream in the market for my skin type. The smell though is a different matter. I positively HATE the signature smell of the White Beauty range. Finally managed to finish this up.

Eyetex Dazzler Foundation- Somehow managed to finish this by using while practising different looks. Definitely don't recommend. Life's too short to use shitty foundation.

Cameleon Mascara- Done, done n done! How proud am I!

Streetwear compact- This was missing when I started my project. Finally found it at the bottom of an unused bag- shattered, mirror cracked & even the compact unhinged! Into the bin.

Now for the list of products I will be using for the next 3 months. Some are carryovers from last time. Seriously how much product is there in these things!

Nivea After Shave Lotion- I only used this as a primer in Jan when it was relatively cold. In the summer months,  not only does this not function well as a primer I literally want to claw it off my face. Quite by accident I discovered that it works pretty well as a makeup remover & I've been using it like that. Only a quarter of the bottle's left. Soon

VOV Loose Powder- Again I've very little left & this is all I'm using these days as it's too hot for the foundation.

Now for the things I will be adding to my Project Pan for the next 3 months

Spinz BB Cream- This looks & even smells vaguely like the Fair n Lovely BB  cream but thankfully blends way better. It even dries to a matte finish so I don't even have to set with powder. This one's pretty much full, let's see if I can use it up

Blue Heaven Signature Foundation- Way too yellow for my skin tone but I plan to use it while practising looks. If I set it with a pink undertoned powder, it looks pretty decent. I still wouldn't wear it outside home though

Lakme 9 -5 Mascara- Currently using this

Maybelline BB Stick- I've had this since forever. It's a bit darker than my skin & suits my tanned skin in summer. I honestly doubt if I'll ever finish this.

Elle 18 Compact- Been using this these days. Quite like it.

Cuffs n Lashes Haul

From a few years now I've consciously stopped buying expensive brands of makeup. I have never finished using a single makeup product entirely except for mascara. It seemed crazy to spend so much money on something especially when you can get the same colour, texture & finish in a less expensive brand. Plus these days a lot of the affordable brands have upped their packaging game by leaps & bounds. That is definitely the cherry on the cake as far as I'm concerned. Shallow much?

Anyway here's my latest haul from Cuffs n Lashes. This site has become my go-to for affordable makeup. It's super easy to order from & I have always received my package in 4 days flat. I've been iffy about ordering from instagram stores for some reason. Let's start. I'm also including expiry dates for most products since I tend to forget exactly when I purchased a particular thing.

Half n Half Double Use Lipstick in 13 Peach Twist

Another thing I've been eyeing from quite a while. You get both regular lipstick & liquid lipstick in a huge tube. The formula is the most comfortable one I've ever tried. No stickiness at all.

OK eye makeup products seem to be having a fixation with writing right now. After the ink pot & quill packaging for ADS Eyeliner, this one's shaped like a fountain pen. Like the really old ones. I simply had to get it despite the lukewarm reviews of Blue Heaven mascaras in general.

Case in point, this Hot Lips lipstick. Been a while since I bought regular lipstick (Half & Half does not count as it also has liquid lipstick in it) it's only been liquid lipsticks from some time now.
